St Nicholas OOSH, Charlestown, provides out-of-school-hours care for children enrolled at St Joseph’s Primary School. A number of play spaces exist within the centre to provoke each child’s imagination and encourage creativity.
Whether the child wants to unwind after a big day at school, do something creative, or collaborate on a puzzle with other children, St Nicholas OOSH has it covered. We cater to the needs and interests of individual children within a context that promotes collaboration and active citizenship. Children under our care have a choice and control over their learning as they work with our educators to extend their life skills whilst having fun at the same time.
Before-school care operates from 7am-8.30am and a wholesome breakfast is provided, whilst children play and participate in a variety of facilitated activities.
After-school care operates from 3pm-6pm, providing children with opportunities to participate in sporting activities, crafts, rest and homework. An afternoon tea snack is also provided each day – varying depending on suggestions from children.
